Leveraging $10 million dollars in matching funds provided by the Alphawood Foundation, a Chicago-based philanthropy, Geto & de Milly secured millions of dollars in New York City and State funding for the construction of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park. Designed by Louis I. Kahn and located on Manhattan’s Roosevelt Island facing the United Nations whose creation was spearheaded by FDR, the park includes the first memorial in New York State dedicated to the legendary president who served as Governor of New York before ascending to the Presidency.
