Daniel White

Daniel is a senior executive at Geto & de Milly. He concentrates on land use and entitlement strategy for real estate and infrastructure projects in New York City and throughout the tri-state area. The focus of his practice is large-scale, complex developments requiring regulatory and public review. He has secured discretionary approvals for projects exceeding $4 billion in aggregate development costs, including first-of-their-kind infrastructure initiatives.

As head of the firm’s Sports Development practice, Daniel also advises professional teams, leagues, and owners on stadium and facility development, market entry, and global event execution.

He has represented institutional and investor groups based in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, London, Manchester, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Mumbai, and Auckland.

Select engagements:

  • Led municipal approvals for Etihad Park, New York City’s first professional soccer stadium, on behalf of City Football Group.
  • Secured state and local approvals for the inaugural U.S. staging of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, including the delivery of a 34,000-seat modular stadium complex.
  • Negotiated the franchise agreement for the Sportime-John McEnroe Tennis Academy, creating the largest indoor tennis facility globally.
  • Facilitated campus expansions and modernizations for Trinity School, Convent of the Sacred Heart, The Chapin School, The Dalton School, and Friends Seminary.
  • Currently leading stadium development for MI New York, the region’s Major League Cricket franchise owned by Reliance Industries, and coordinating New York City’s role in hosting Olympic Football matches as part of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Daniel has been recognized by City & State magazine (2018, 2024) for his work in public affairs and served for more than a decade as an advisor to MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning. Previously, he worked on Capitol Hill as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative José E. Serrano, a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee. He is a graduate of Fordham University.
