Junior Executive

We are seeking a full-time Junior Executive to join our expert government and community relations/strategic communications team. We work three days in-person in our Midtown South Manhattan offices and two days remotely.


  • Contribute meaningfully to work products and strategy in connection with multiple projects in fields ranging from real estate to sports and culture
  • Advise clients on all aspects of public affairs, drawing on expertise in engaging local stakeholders and navigating government relationships
  • Work with the firm’s senior executives on business planning and leading new business development, including the creation of pitch presentations and RFP responses, as well as lead generation and networking
  • Research and draft policy memos/backgrounders on a wide range of policy topics to support the work of your client team
  • Monitor City and State legislation and liaise with government staff
  • Attend Community Board meetings, governmental hearings and other public forums; provide notes to team on rapid turnaround
  • Closely follow and report on press and social media relevant to client projects and key issues
  • Administrative tasks include maintaining office contact lists, answering phones, scheduling conference calls/online meetings, and arranging reservations and transportation as needed


  • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in government and/or community relations
  • Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to discern/distill relevant written/oral information and communicate it to team quickly
  • Highly organized with ability to multitask, set priorities and meet multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in NYC and NJ politics, with an emphasis on real estate/land use and public policy

Full-time position with salary range of $75,000 – $125,000 and excellent benefits.
