Sam Weinberger offers Geto & de Milly clients expertise in political and governmental relations, media strategy, and community engagement. A lifelong New Yorker, Sam has strong relationships with elected officials, government officials and community leaders across New York City and State. At Geto & de Milly, Sam works with our clients to build compelling narratives surrounding their projects and leverages his relationships to advance their goals, in addition to organizing community events and providing the briefing materials that ensures our clients are prepared for every meeting they step into.
Prior to joining Geto & de Milly, Sam served as Chief of Staff to New York City Council Member and Education Committee Chair Rita Joseph. In this role, he advanced the Brooklyn Council Member’s legislative and budgetary goals, and handled communications and social media, while cultivating relationships with community stakeholders, organized labor and issue advocacy groups to effectively implement the Council Member’s priorities. Sam has also served as a winning Campaign Manager and Political Advisor for now-Congressman Pat Ryan’s ServeNY PAC, and worked at Milbank LLP, supporting attorneys in domestic and international real estate transactions representing sponsors and lenders. Sam served as an intern for Rep. Carolyn Maloney, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright.
Sam has a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
